SOSUME's ALEX TRIMMER PRESENTING AT FASHION EXPOSED

A BIG thanks needs to out to all the great people behind the Sustainable Fashion Discussion Forums held at this years Fashion Exposed in Melbourne's Convention Centre this weekend. Lara McPherson and the TFIA have teamed up to bring you a series of discussions revolving around the idea of what sustainable fashion is, how big business can adopt and develop their structures to provide a sustainable product and have systems in place which encourage efficiencies and ultimately, a greener, more viable product in the long run!

SOSUME's Alex Trimmer was part of a panel today talking about Sustainable Design Principles. Major discussions revolved around the key areas the panelist's businesses were adopting sustainable practices, what we would like to do to show how big fashion businesses can change their current culture, the confusion around what is organic/green/sustainable, and how to help consumers make more informed purchasing decisions.

We're only one day into all the action with more discussions to come! On Tuesday, Alex will be talking about Sustainable Textile Innovations and stressing the importance of technology and education and the roll it plays on further understand the complete process of textile development.

See you there!!!
